Hey, it’s Simone here
I want to talk straight to you, the girl on the other side of this screen. Maybe you’ve been told your body should look a certain way. Maybe you’ve caught yourself comparing in the mirror, tugging at your clothes, wishing something was different. I’ve been there. Most of us have.
Here’s the truth: there isn’t one “cheer body.” There isn’t one “perfect body.” There’s just yours. And your body — right here, right now — is worthy of movement, of joy, of being seen.
When I step out in my Panther Paws uniform, I don’t represent a size, I represent a spirit. Strength doesn’t come from matching a mould; it comes from embracing yourself exactly as you are, in this moment.
But here’s the other part: if you aren’t happy with how you feel in your body — you are not stuck. You have the power to change. Not because the world tells you to, but because you choose it. Change can be adding strength, building stamina, eating in a way that fuels you, or simply learning to love the reflection in the mirror.
Body positivity isn’t pretending every day is easy. It’s standing tall anyway. It’s knowing you belong on the floor, on the field, in the spotlight — exactly as you are.
So, whether you’re tall, short, curvy, slim, muscular, soft, or somewhere in between — remember: you’re already part of the team. And the only voice you need cheering you on right now is your own.
With love and fire,
Simone – Panther Paws Cheerleader
